There are 1.5 billion Muslims on Earth. What do they believe? How can we share the Good News with them? These questions and more will be the focus of this one-day conference, and a great opportunity to connect with other believers serious about putting feet to their faith!
8:20-9AM – Meet-and-greet
9AM-2PM – Conference & Chick-fil-A lunch (register today!)
2-3PM – Debrief and discuss
This conference is hosted by Crescent Project, whose mission is to “inspire, equip and serve the Church to reach Muslims with the Gospel of Christ for the Glory of God. It is our vision to see a day when fear is replaced with love and millions of Christians are actively sharing the truth of Christ with millions of Muslims for the glory of God. We do this through prayer, training, local outreach, and short-term trips.”
Fouad Masri, a former Muslim and the founder of Crescent Project
$30 per person ($35 if you register on the day of the event). This cost includes lunch catered by Chik-Fil-A lunch. You can pre-register here.
This event will also be the jumpstart of a local Summit community: Summit Ministries is a Colorado-based organization that equips young adults to develop a Biblical-Christian worldview. Students attend a two-week training course which presents the various worldviews common during our day and contrasts them with Biblical answers. Here in Indiana, Summit alumni are coming together to form a local Summit community to continue our study of Biblical Christianity and live out God’s purpose in our lives!
Author and lecturer Fouad Masri was born and raised in the war zone of Beirut, Lebanon. As a third-generation ordained pastor, he has a passion for sharing the love of Christ with Muslims and has been reaching out to Muslims and inspiring others to follow his example since 1979.
After coming to the United States to attend seminary, Fouad realized the urgency of teaching American Christians to reach out to the growing population of internationals, particularly Muslims.
In 1993, he founded Crescent Project to nurture transformational relationships between Christians and Muslims and to rally the Church to reach out to Muslims to share the Good News of Christ.
Since then, he has trained more than 21,000 Christians to sensitively and purposefully share their faith with Muslims through both the Bridges One-Day Seminar and Sahara Challenge training experiences. He has served as a guest instructor at several universities and Christian ministries and has been featured in several media publications including Christianity Today, Newsweek, and Mission Network News. He has appeared on CBN, TBN, the Janet Parshall Show, and Prime Time America.
He is the producer and teacher in the DVD study, Bridges: Christians Connecting with Muslims. In Bridges, he further exposes Christians to the urgent need for a deeper understanding about Islam and Muslims.
Fouad has authored 14 books including Outreach Magazine’s 2015 Cross Cultural Resource of the Year Connecting with Muslims: A Guide to Communicating Effectively. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and an M.A. from Fuller Theological Seminary in Islamic studies. Fouad lives in Indianapolis, Indiana, with his wife Lisa and their two children.
