Did you know you could stream the Dave Ramsey Show, for free? Now you know! Check out the current and past shows on YouTube. This week, the show’s been doing a series called “A Message of Hope”:
With everything going on right now, it’s really easy to feel completely out of control. You’re hearing conversations about layoffs and recessions. You’re worried about your jobs, your finances and your families. Let’s talk about what you can actually control during this time of crisis:
Your thoughts
Your actions
Your feelings
You will get through this. Just remember: hope is greater than fear.
Introducing Refuel + Recharge, an EDGE Mentoring virtual event series on mental wellness. We’ll be featuring a lineup of notable speakers who will spark honest conversations about mental health, isolation and the loneliness epidemic, and how we can best take care of our hearts and minds.
If you’ve been feeling the weight of the world, this is your invitation to a new kind of R+R–one that will refuel your emotional tank and recharge your mental energy to foster the resilience and strength we need to keep moving forward–together.
Ken Coleman is a #1 national best-selling author, career expert and nationally syndicated radio host of The Ken Coleman Show. He was also a keynote speaker at EDGE|X 2019. Join us at 8PM on April 8 to Refuel + Recharge with Ken!
Registration for this event is free, but the generosity of your donations will help us keep them going.
“The big topic no one’s talking about: 👉Who are the most vulnerable to the social and economic devastation of coronavirus quarantine? It’s probably not the group you suspect.”
Mr. Prager created Prager U, a nonprofit that produces thought-provoking videos on political topics such as “The Intolerance of Tolerance” and “Can You Define Socialism?” Each week, Mr. Prager hosts a fireside chat where he answers viewers’ questions and shares his perspective on current news topics.
When something goes wrong, what do you do? Hear Mr. Shapiro’s take on handling life: choosing a career, handling missteps, and charting a course for the future.
Note: one thing that is very interesting about this interview is that both the interviewer and the interviewee overcame childhood bullying.

On November 11th, Christian leaders from business and nonprofit worlds will gather in Carmel to share wisdom and encouragement at America’s Best Hope 2016.
Phil Vischer, the creator of VeggieTales, will headline this year’s event. “I think everybody who builds things or leads things has dreams of how it should turn out,” Phil shared in an interview with America’s Best Hope. “The reality is that very seldom does it turn out the way we dream about it and we imagine it. Christian values are often more longterm. Y’know, just being kind, showing the fruit of the Spirit, doesn’t necessarily move the needle in the next quarter, but it might move the needle in the next decade.
“For business leaders, it’s really a question of, ‘Why do I do this? Why do I get up in the morning? Why do I come into work? What’s my ultimate goal? Am I focusing on outcomes, or am I focusing on my relationship with God and what He’s called me to do on a daily basis?'”
Here’s highlights from last year’s conference:

What if you could change the way you looked at your job and your career?
What if you could rescue Monday, reinvent your work, and never get stuck again?
Those are some of the questions Jon will be answering at a book signing for his latest book, Do Over! He will be at the Carmel Barnes & Noble (14790 U.S. 31, Carmel) on Thursday, October 15th from 7-8:30PM. Be sure and register if you plan on attending!
In his words:
The last tour was awesome! In addition to signing books and hanging out with so many friends, I got to do a live illustration of the four career transitions everyone will experience.
A tour might feel a little old fashioned what with the webinars and the Lady Gagas and the hippity hop snapchat these kids are doing these days. But the more time I spend online, the more I realize offline matters more. That’s why I can’t wait to meet so many of you and hear about your Do Over stories.
This event is free, but space is limited. Register to reserve your spot!
Millions of online fans love Jon Acuff’s refreshing mix of humor, honesty and wisdom about the world of work. His book Do Over, the get ready, get going guide to navigating career change and doing work you love, has an average 4.25 star rating! Meet the author and have your book signed!
