“You and I are told we must choose between a left or right, but I suggest there is no such thing as a left or right. There is only an up or down. Up to man’s age-old dream—the maximum of individual freedom consistent with order—or down to the ant heap of totalitarianism. Regardless of their sincerity, their humanitarian motives, those who would sacrifice freedom for security have embarked on this downward path. Plutarch warned, ‘The real destroyer of the liberties of the people is he who spreads among them bounties, donations and benefits.’”
Ronald Reagan

Dr. Jerry Bergman to Speak in Indianapolis
Speaker and author Dr. Jerry Bergman will speak Tuesday, March 9th at 7PM at Zion Unity Baptist Church (3855 E. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN). Dr. Bergman has written books on the fossil record, Hitler’s evolutionary roots, Charles Darwin, and fully functional vestigial organs.
He will discuss the following points:
1. Darwinian evolution/The Big Bang Theory are known lies from the intelligentsia; they are perpetuated for personal interest and monetary gain
2. Charles Darwin’s theory was an intentional effort to debunk Christianity and foment racism and humanism
3. Evidence supporting creation by an all-powerful, omniscient Creator abounds
March On, My Soul; Be Strong!
“… March on, my soul; be strong!”
Deborah and Barak, Judges 5:21
For twenty years, Canaan had its jackboot on Israel’s throat. When they cried to God for help, He answered and hand-picked Deborah, “a mother in Israel,” to judge His chosen people.
With the help of God and Jael, a woman with MacGyver-like ingenuity, Israel routed Canaan and the land had peace for forty years.
To celebrate, Deborah and Barak sang a victory song. Imagine what it sounded like as they belted it out in the original Hebrew!
Catch the whole story in Judges 4–5.
Live Not by Lies
“[T]herein we find, neglected by us, the simplest, the most accessible key to our liberation: a personal nonparticipation in lies! Even if all is covered by lies, even if all is under their rule, let us resist in the smallest way: Let their rule hold not through me!
“And this is the way to break out of the imaginary encirclement of our inertness, the easiest way for us and the most devastating for the lies. For when people renounce lies, lies simply cease to exist. Like parasites, they can only survive when attached to a person.”
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, “Live Not by Lies“
A Time to Decide
“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo.
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring
“So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
Impeaching Trump Twice Is Like Burning Wycliffe’s Bones
At some point it’s less about your target’s despicability and more about your own vindictiveness.
Context:
“John Wycliffe died of his stroke on the last day of the year. The religious authorities had never excommunicated him because they feared public opinion–the people loved John and his fame was international. So he was buried in consecrated soil. But about thirty years later, the Council of Constance revenged itself on his criticism by condemning his teachings and ordering his bones to be dug up and burned.
“But the burning of such a man’s bones could not end his influence. As John Foxe said in his book of martyrs, ‘though they dug up his body, burnt his bones, and drowned his ashes, yet the Word of God and the truth of his doctrine, with the fruit and success thereof, they could not burn; which yet to this day…doth remain.'”
